Quality Assurance & Lab Incharge Positions in Steel & Foundry

About the role

Vinayak Outsourcing Works Pvt Ltd is hiring experienced professionals for three critical quality functions in its steel and foundry operations in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The roles include a Senior Officer Quality for a steel shots foundry, a Quality Assurance Officer for a steel rolling mill, and a Lab Incharge for a foundry plant. Each position is responsible for maintaining product standards, overseeing testing protocols, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise testing of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods, ensuring adherence to GMP, ISO, SHEQ, BIS and ASTM standards.
• Manage laboratory operations, including sample processing, schedule coordination, and staff supervision.
• Monitor chemical and mechanical properties across rolling, casting and forging processes, and perform defect analysis and root‑cause investigations.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, non‑conformance reports, and process‑improvement records.
• Utilise SAP ERP for tracking quality data, inventory of test samples, and generating compliance reports.

Required profile

• Senior Officer Quality – 5 to 8 years of experience in quality control or assurance within steel or foundry environments.
• Quality Assurance Officer – 2 to 5 years of experience in steel manufacturing quality functions.
• Lab Incharge – 3 to 5 years of experience managing a metallurgical or chemical laboratory.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, SHEQ, BIS and ASTM standards.
• Metallurgical testing techniques and root‑cause analysis.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP for quality data management.
