QC Executive – Soft Home (Quality Assurance)

About the role

The QC Executive – Soft Home is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, samples and finished products meet the quality standards set by the head office. This role works closely with vendors, internal QA teams and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that raw materials and pre‑production samples comply with approved quality guidelines.
• Manage the approval process for production samples (PP/TOP) and maintain related trackers.
• Review lab reports against specifications and ensure tolerance limits are met.
• Track and share inspection rosters and monthly QA performance reports.
• Support vendors on product improvements, testing, packaging and corrective actions.
• Coordinate vendor assessments, grading and complaint resolution, keeping complaint values within set limits.
• Maintain documentation such as factory evaluation data, audit records and lab specimens.
• Prepare and submit invoices for testing expenses and track travel costs related to QA activities.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors and regional QA contacts, using MS Office and Excel for analysis.

Required profile

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Textile Science or any graduate/post‑graduate degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising, sampling and product development within the textile/soft home sector.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, production processes (printing, weaving, dyeing, embroidery, stitching, finishing, labeling, packing) and material techniques.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) – Hindi is a plus.
