Purchasing Manager – Aluminium, Glass & Façade Procurement

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement of aluminium, glass, façade and related architectural materials for our projects in India. The role involves overseeing the full purchasing cycle, building strong supplier relationships and ensuring cost‑effective material supply.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement and purchasing activities.
• Source aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, accessories and façade materials.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency.
• Compare quotations and prepare purchase orders aligned with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project, production and site teams for material planning.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability.
• Track market trends, pricing and new supplier opportunities.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor databases and purchase documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
• 4–5 years of procurement experience in aluminium, glass, façade, fenestration or construction industry.
• Strong vendor sourcing and supplier development capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation and cost‑management abilities.
• Good understanding of technical specifications and construction materials.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems and procurement documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills.
