Project Manager – Wind Energy Systems

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead interdisciplinary teams in the development of cost‑optimal wind turbine systems. The role spans the full project lifecycle from feasibility studies through to production launch, working closely with engineering, production, logistics, installation and service functions in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional project team of engineers, production experts, strategic purchasers and other stakeholders.
• Deliver a “cost of energy” optimized turbine system while meeting cost, quality and schedule targets.
• Manage all project phases: feasibility, concept, detailed design, prototyping and start‑up of production.
• Control project performance using KPIs, monitor deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct risk and stakeholder management, and drive continuous improvement of product development processes.
• Prepare decision proposals and reports for the management board.

Required profile

• BE/BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of project management experience in the wind industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and systematic working style.
• Excellent English proficiency; additional languages such as Spanish or German are a plus.
• Proven ability to work in multicultural, international settings.

• MS Project Server.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with PLM systems.
