Project Manager

About the role

Metso is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects within the Pumps Business Line. Based in Alwar, Rajasthan, you will oversee delivery against contract, schedule and budget requirements while acting as a primary contact for customers and internal market teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Metso policies, processes, QEHS standards and project governance.
• Lead the core project team, organize resources, coach members and promote effective teamwork.
• Review and acknowledge contracts/orders, understand contract conditions and participate in negotiations when needed.
• Manage projects end‑to‑end, controlling scope, schedule, budget and risk.
• Maintain baseline scopes, programs and budgets, and process change requests to avoid overruns.
• Monitor project quality requirements and regulatory compliance through coordination with engineering, QA/QC, procurement and production teams across multiple factories.
• Prepare and submit monthly project reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage industrial projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of contract conditions and project documentation.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and external partners.
