Project Manager – GBS Transition & Transformation

About the role

Rolls‑Royce is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex Global Business Services (GBS) transition and transformation projects. The role operates within the country Programme Delivery & PMO capability in Krakow and Bangalore, reporting to local VP/centre delivery leadership while adhering to global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assigned transition workstreams from mobilisation through delivery, stabilisation and handover.
• Build and maintain integrated plans, milestones, RAID logs, dependencies, actions and decision records.
• Drive delivery against agreed scope, timeline, cost and quality, escalating blockers and resolving issues promptly.
• Coordinate across functional SMEs, country teams, GCC leaders, PMO, Change and Service Management.
• Translate functional and transition requirements into practical delivery plans and readiness activities.
• Provide clear reporting and stakeholder updates on progress, risks and decisions.
• Apply common project‑management methods, governance, templates and tools consistently.
• Capture lessons learned to strengthen future GBS transition capability.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing complex business change, transformation, shared services or GBS/GCC projects.
• Proven ability to deliver cross‑functional projects through planning, execution, risk and dependency management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Demonstrated ownership of delivery outcomes in business transition or transformation environments.
• Functional knowledge relevant to the 2027 focus area combined with strong project‑management discipline.
• Hands‑on, proactive delivery style with the ability to identify obstacles and keep work moving.
