Project Environmental Consultant

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Project Environmental Consultant to lead environmental assessments and sustainability initiatives for infrastructure projects in Bangalore. The role involves on‑site data collection, analysis, and the preparation of comprehensive environmental reports and mitigation plans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, collect primary and secondary data, and perform life‑cycle assessments (LCA).
• Manage solid waste compliance, circular‑economy strategies, and air‑quality modelling.
• Assess environmental impacts, develop mitigation measures, and prepare Environmental Management Plans (EMP).
• Prepare statutory clearance applications, ESG strategies, and reporting documents.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, and training sessions.
• Support proposal development and use engineering software to solve technical problems within budget and schedule.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Management or Sustainability.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the environmental sector.
