About the role
PATH is seeking a Program Officer to lead urban health surveillance initiatives in Nagpur. The role provides technical leadership for planning, implementing, and ensuring quality of surveillance activities across city and peri‑urban areas.
Key responsibilities
- Support planning, implementation, and monitoring of urban and peri‑urban disease surveillance strengthening in alignment with state and national priorities.
- Lead GIS‑based mapping and spatial analysis of surveillance data, including hotspot identification, facility mapping, and catch‑area delineation.
- Contribute to the development and execution of City Action Plans, ensuring city‑specific priorities are captured and tracked.
- Provide technical guidance for facility‑level IHIP reporting and improve surveillance performance.
- Supervise the Program Coordinator and assist the City Lead in delivering technical outputs related to surveillance, GIS, and multisector coordination.
