Production Supervisor – Motor & Stator Manufacturing

About the role

Moog is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the Stator A&T line in Bangalore. You will drive daily production activities, ensure safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement in a high‑tech motor manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production for each work centre, monitoring rhythmic output.
• Conduct daily morning briefings to communicate SQCD status.
• Allocate manpower, track work orders, and prioritize critical customer parts.
• Attend minor machine breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance for major issues.
• Monitor operator efficiency, drive multiskilling, and ensure proper trainee orientation.
• Perform weekly EHS safety audits, enforce PPE usage, and lead safety committee activities.
• Track first‑pass yield, lead daily quality meetings, and eliminate customer complaints.
• Apply lean tools (5S, VSM, pull system, 8D, A3) to improve OEE and overall shop‑floor visualization.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of electrical motors and stators.
• Hands‑on experience in motor and stator manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with coil assembly, winding, brazing, welding, and electrical testing.
• Proven ability to manage production planning, scheduling, and workforce allocation.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
