Production Supervisor – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing activities for Bosch’s hydraulic brake system components, ensuring that production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of operators and trainees to achieve KPI targets and fulfill customer orders.
• Plan and execute shift schedules, coordinate material arrival, and ensure adherence to control plans, SOPs and work instructions.
• Track manpower, deploy operators, provide on‑job training and maintain skill matrices.
• Manage line start‑up, set‑up changes, 4M changes and monitor OEE, rejection and defect status.
• Identify and implement safety, quality and productivity improvement projects, including IDC rejection and OEE initiatives.
• Apply BPS concepts on the shop floor as directed by industrial engineering.
• Conduct daily rejection analysis, drive corrective actions and update deviation boards.
• Maintain 5S, health, safety and quality compliance, and perform autonomous maintenance.
• Motivate operators, resolve grievances and ensure high morale.

Required profile

• Strong command of English with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven ability to lead production teams and manage shift operations.
• Experience in troubleshooting machinery, handling type changes and ensuring standardized work.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, Kaizen participation and safety culture.

Required skills

• Machining process knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
