Production Supervisor / Front Line Manager

About the role

Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd is seeking a Production Supervisor / Front Line Manager to lead a team of operators and trainees on the manufacturing floor. The role focuses on meeting KPI targets, ensuring on‑time order fulfilment and driving continuous improvement in a high‑volume hydraulic brake system environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of operators/trainees to execute production activities, achieve KPI targets and fulfil customer orders.
• Plan and manage shift schedules, coordinate material arrival, and ensure adherence to control plans, SOPs and daily production plans.
• Deploy manpower, track skill matrices, provide on‑job training and maintain training records.
• Oversee line start‑up, set‑up changes, 4M change management and monitor OEE, rejection and defect status.
• Identify and implement safety, quality and productivity improvement projects, including IDC rejection and OEE initiatives.
• Apply BPS concepts, conduct daily rejection analysis, drive corrective actions and maintain 5S, health, safety and quality compliance.
• Troubleshoot machines, manage tool changes, perform autonomous maintenance and participate in Kaizen events.

Required profile

• Graduate Engineer (Automobile, Production or Mechanical).
• 3–6 years of experience as a production supervisor in an industrial setting.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, excellent communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to quality and safety.
