Product Owner – Rich Communication Services (RCS)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Product Owner to drive the growth and execution of our Rich Communication Services (RCS) offering within Tata Communications’ CPaaS portfolio. You will work closely with the Product Manager, engineering, design and delivery teams to turn market needs into actionable product requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product vision and high‑level requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and sprint backlogs.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure clarity, feasibility and timely delivery of product increments.
• Maintain and prioritize the RCS product backlog in line with business outcomes.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, validating deliverables against acceptance criteria.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day liaison between engineering, QA and cross‑functional business teams.
• Support pre‑sales and operations with product knowledge and technical clarifications.
• Incorporate feedback from customers, carriers and partners into product iterations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Technical Product Lead, preferably in CPaaS, telecom or messaging platforms.
• Strong familiarity with RCS, SMS or other messaging APIs.
• Hands‑on experience in Agile/Scrum environments with backlog and sprint management.
• Excellent ability to translate complex requirements into clear, testable user stories.
