Product Manager SAP Authorization (m/f/d)

About the role

You will join BASF’s global leadership team to ensure business continuity by delivering a stable, innovative SAP platform for the company’s worldwide landscape. Based in the new Digital Hub in Hyderabad, you will help shape the operational backbone of BASF’s S/4 transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global SAP Authorization implementation, support and audit liaison across BASF projects.
• Drive continuous improvement of S/4 operational processes, leveraging AI and automation for standardisation and lean practices.
• Manage a distributed SAP Authorization product team and external service providers, overseeing budgeting, resource planning and performance management.
• Own end‑to‑end DevOps activities for SAP Authorizations, including testing, release and deployment.
• Develop internal expertise and contribute to the organisational development of the broader SAP team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SAP Authorization or broader SAP landscape (testing, release management, development).
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing global, cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to drive innovation, automation and AI‑enabled improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, especially for audit and compliance matters.
