Procurement Team Member

About the role

The Procurement Team Member will manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities for projects and operation sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and supporting the tendering process at the local level.

Key responsibilities

• Handle local project purchases, contracts, and the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process for CAPEX and OPEX.
• Initiate and support tendering, review schedules, and expedite supplier deliveries to meet project timelines.
• Close purchase orders, reconcile vendor accounts, and manage post‑order reviews.
• Analyse requirements, review technical documents, and prepare comparative statements for negotiations.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, shipping terms, delivery lead times, and warranty agreements.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve disputes, and develop new suppliers.
• Conduct spend analysis and implement cost‑optimization strategies.
• Ensure adherence to Delegation of Authority and other compliance standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in greenfield/brownfield projects and regular plant operations.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, CAPEX/OPEX budgeting, and contract management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
