Process/Manufacturing Engineering Engineer

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Process/Manufacturing Engineering Engineer to lead the industrialization of the new P1 project. You will be responsible for improving production efficiency, sharing industrial know‑how, and supporting the design of new equipment and production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the industrialization of the new P1, managing equipment introduction using IPROM.
• Design small tools, validate supplier proposals, and define acceptance criteria for new equipment or lines.
• Conduct pre‑acceptance, acceptance tests, and trials on production lines, delivering detailed reports.
• Develop and execute process validation plans, participate in PFMEA and control plan creation.
• Monitor QCDM, propose improvements, and work on cycle‑time reduction to optimise material and labour costs.
• Update routing information in the information system with SPV validation and support production technicians through training and problem‑solving.
• Collaborate with suppliers for continuous improvement and support.
• Validate and promote standards (PG, sites, corporate) and ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Proven ability to lead industrialization projects and work with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with Lean design workshops and standardisation processes.
