Process and Data Officer - Master Data

About the role

Envalior is looking for a Process and Data Officer to join its Supply Chain team in Pune. The officer acts as a subject matter expert for master data across several business processes, ensuring high-quality master and configuration data and supporting fast, accurate handling of master data requests. The role requires solid knowledge of PtP, OtC and SCM processes.

Key responsibilities

• Governance: validate complete master data requests, decide whether email requests can be handled directly or need workflow routing, and clean up unused master data elements.
• Continuous improvement: simplify complex processes, automate routine activities and move repetitive tasks into automation tools such as RPA.
• Reporting: monitor data quality against business rules, build detailed reports beyond high-level KPIs and provide ad hoc reporting for projects and issue resolution.
• Project support: contribute to data preparation, mapping and validation, and take part in UAT, cutover planning and execution.
• Operational support: guide SAP users on correct use of master data, troubleshoot issues, interpret requests and choose the best data entry method (manual entry or upload tools).
• Maintain shipment routes across regions, approval tables (SAP/SRM) and the department's SharePoint environment, and the PANDA master data workflow application.

Required profile

• Analytical thinking, stakeholder management, problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong command of English (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and handle high request volumes (6,000+ emails, 10,000+ workflows per year).
• Organization and ability to balance standardization with practical support in a non-harmonized environment.
