Principal Software Engineer / Solution Architect – Decision Management Platform

About the role

Join Mastercard’s Decision Management Platform team to lead the architecture of a customer‑facing fraud analysis solution known as the Fraud Center. You will be responsible for shaping the technical direction, ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the API, service, and data architecture for the Decision Products UI (DPUI).
• Design target‑state solutions for event review, case management, reporting, rules, and operational workflows.
• Guide the selection of micro‑service patterns, database technologies, and integration approaches to support high‑performance transaction processing.
• Produce architecture deliverables for governance and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with product teams, UI architects, engineering, UX, and operations to align technical decisions with business priorities.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, implementation guidance, and delivery support.
