Principal Quality Test Analyst – Consulting

About the role

The Consulting/Principal Quality Test Analyst will lead quality assurance initiatives for the GBS and Data Lake platforms. Working closely with technology and business leaders, the role defines quality standards, drives automation, and ensures reliable delivery of data and software solutions. The analyst will mentor QA teams while staying hands‑on with testing, defect triage and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall quality assurance delivery for the GBS platform.
• Ensure delivery of high‑quality, scalable, defect‑free enterprise solutions.
• Drive QA standards, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and enhance automation frameworks and testing best practices.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and compliance across platforms.
• Provide QA leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to the testing team.
• Manage testing risks, quality metrics, and stakeholder communication.
• Align QA deliverables with business and project objectives.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, ETL, and data validation testing activities.
• Develop and maintain manual and automated test cases/scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business teams during sprint execution.
• Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, and defect triage discussions.
• Validate data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and system integrations.
• Support release testing, production validation, and issue resolution activities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of Quality Test Analyst experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent required.
• Higher qualifications such as M.Tech/MCA/MS preferred.
• Experience leading QA teams and enterprise testing initiatives preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of QA methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of software development processes and process improvement.
• Understanding of industry best practices and trends.
