Senior Solution Delivery Architect - Windows

About the role

The Senior Solution Delivery Architect will ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of Windows‑based information systems that support Ensono’s core functions and its strategic accounts. You will lead the design, migration and optimisation of server and virtual environments while collaborating with IT teams to improve performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and support physical and virtual Windows servers, including high‑availability solutions such as Microsoft Clustering and DFS.
• Design, document and maintain Windows and VMware infrastructures, handling migration planning and execution across multiple waves.
• Implement Windows updates, Active Directory changes and automation scripts using PowerShell, VBS, Python or Bash.
• Manage VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter, P2V/V2V migrations, datacenter consolidation and DR solutions (Zerto, vCloud Director Availability, VMware SRM).
• Coordinate with application owners and infrastructure managers for pre‑migration and migration activities, providing status reporting and issue escalation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot network protocols, and optimise storage technologies (RAID, SAN, NAS).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent advanced degree and experience.
• Proven hands‑on administration of Windows (8+ years) and VMware (4+ years) environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with ITIL Foundations, DevOps tools and Agile frameworks is a plus.
