Pharmacist – Hospital Pharmacy (Freshers Welcome)

About the role

Metro Mind Hospital is seeking a responsible and motivated Pharmacist to join its healthcare team. Applications are welcomed from freshers as well as candidates with up to one year of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge of medicines, strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medicines accurately according to valid prescriptions and hospital procedures.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of medicines, checking names, dosages, expiry dates, and stock availability.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records, inventory, and monitor stock levels for timely replenishment.
• Provide patients and healthcare staff with appropriate medication‑related information within professional scope.
• Follow hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and patient safety standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional standards in the pharmacy.
• Report medication discrepancies, expired stock, and other concerns to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Qualification: D.Pharm or B.Pharm.
• Experience: Freshers or up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Registration: Valid State Pharmacy Council registration where applicable.
• Core abilities: Medication knowledge, strong communication, and meticulous attention to detail.
