Pharmacist

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position involves dispensing prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines, providing accurate dosage, labeling and patient counseling while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and OTC medications, ensuring accurate dosage, labeling and patient counseling.
• Review prescriptions for potential drug interactions and support generic substitution where appropriate.
• Maintain proper storage conditions, manage inventory and ensure expiry management in line with regulatory standards.
• Keep statutory records, adhere to SOPs and collaborate with store staff to provide a safe, efficient pharmacy environment.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist with a valid state pharmacy council license and D.Pharm/B.Pharm qualification.
• Experience in retail pharmacy operations, including dispensing, inventory management and statutory documentation.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, generic medicines and drug interactions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills in English and the local language.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management or POS systems.
