People Officer (HR Director)

About the role

The Ksquare Group is seeking a senior HR leader to head the People function for its India Center of Excellence. Reporting to executive leadership, you will own the full employee lifecycle and shape performance, engagement, and well‑being initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to align people strategy with organizational goals and coach managers.
• Design and manage the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle, from pre‑boarding to off‑boarding, using exit insights to reduce attrition.
• Build and run a robust performance‑management framework, including goal‑setting, review cycles, calibration, feedback training, and succession planning.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, and lead culture programs such as surveys, recognition, wellness, town halls, and D&I initiatives.
• Conduct talent development activities, including training needs assessments, learning calendars, leadership development, mentoring, and coaching.
• Maintain HR policies, ensure statutory compliance in India (Shops & Establishments, POSH, gratuity, labour law) and coordinate global compliance.
• Support compensation and benefits processes, including annual reviews, salary benchmarking, benefits administration, and internal equity analysis.
• Oversee HRIS administration, automate HR processes, and deliver monthly people‑analytics dashboards to leadership.
• Lead and develop the People team, set service standards, and represent employee interests while protecting business objectives.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with 3–5 years as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
• Background in technology, consulting, or professional services.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
