Technical Recruiter – SME – India

About the role

Bureau Veritas is looking for a Technical Recruiter to support talent acquisition for the oil and gas sector in the Southern Middle East region. The role is based in India and will work closely with product line managers to understand workforce needs and deliver qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, industry networks and referrals in line with role specifications.
• Build and maintain a continuous talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs across the Southern Middle East region.
• Conduct initial HR screenings, verify qualifications, collect documentation and assess technical competencies.
• Prepare and extend offers, ensure timely acceptance and manage pre‑ and post‑onboarding documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date recruitment data in the HRIS module and ensure compliance with internal policies and local employment laws.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (engineering – mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive recruitment experience, preferably in oil & gas or energy sectors.
• Proven ability to source inspection‑related talent and manage bulk recruitment drives across the Middle East.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as business needs dictate.
