Node.js Software Developer (Backend)

About the role

Waybeo is looking for a hands‑on Software Developer with at least three years of experience in Node.js to build and maintain scalable backend services for its conversation intelligence platform. You will collaborate with product, QA, frontend and other engineering teams to deliver reliable, high‑volume APIs that power analytics and AI‑driven insights for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Build, document, and integrate RESTful APIs and micro‑service components.
• Work with relational databases, primarily MySQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Write clean, reusable, and well‑tested code; develop unit and integration tests.
• Debug production issues and provide effective solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best‑practice development standards.
• Contribute to performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of REST API design and micro‑service architecture.
• Experience with MySQL and general database concepts.
• Good knowledge of Git and standard development workflows.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
