Mold Setter – Footwear Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mold Setter to manage mould setting, machine setup, and production operations in our footwear manufacturing unit. The role requires hands‑on expertise with footwear moulding machines and a solid understanding of production and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set and adjust moulds in footwear moulding machines according to production requirements.
• Install, remove and align moulds correctly before each production run.
• Configure machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, timing and injection settings.
• Monitor the moulding process, identify defects or abnormalities, and take corrective action.
• Carry out mould changes in line with production schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.
• Maintain accurate mould‑setting records and production documentation.
• Ensure work areas, moulds and machines are kept clean and safe.
• Follow company safety procedures and production standards.
• Minimise material waste and production downtime.
• Support troubleshooting of mould‑related issues.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in mould setting within footwear manufacturing.
• ITI/Diploma or 10th/12th pass with relevant footwear manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work in shift‑based production (6‑day work week).
• Immediate joiners preferred.
