Mid-Level React Developer (Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js)

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Level React Developer with strong expertise in Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js to build and optimise modern web applications. The role involves creating high‑performance, SEO‑friendly front‑ends while collaborating closely with backend teams and UI/UX designers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable React components and pages using Next.js.
• Implement Server‑Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) for improved SEO and load times.
• Write clean, type‑safe TypeScript code.
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
• Handle server‑side logic, API routes, and basic micro‑services with Node.js.
• Set up and maintain front‑end testing using Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
• Optimize Webpack configurations for faster builds and better performance.
• Ensure code follows best practices for performance, accessibility, and security.
• Debug UI and SSR issues to deliver a seamless user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous learning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of front‑end development experience, with at least 3 years using React and Next.js.
• Strong understanding of SSR, SSG, ISR, and API routes in Next.js.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and basic Node.js for backend tasks.
• Experience with front‑end testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).
• Familiarity with Webpack optimisation and build performance.
• Knowledge of state‑management tools such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile workflows.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
