MES Services Consultant

About the role

AVEVA is looking for an experienced MES Services Consultant to design, develop and implement Manufacturing Execution System solutions for its industrial customers. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable software that supports shop‑floor operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain C#/.NET applications and RESTful Web APIs.
• Create and optimise SQL Server queries, stored procedures and database schemas.
• Build responsive front‑end components using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Integrate MES solutions with external systems such as SAP, PLCs and SCADA.
• Participate in requirements gathering, system design, code reviews and troubleshooting in manufacturing environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with C#.NET, Web API development and MS SQL Server.
• Strong JavaScript and front‑end development skills.
• Experience or exposure to MES platforms (e.g., Aveva/Wonderware, Rockwell, Siemens).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial data protocols (OPC, PLC) is a plus.
