Technical Data Authoring Intern - Airframe

About the role

Join Airbus India’s Customer Services Fleet Efficiency and Engineering team in Bangalore as a Technical Data Authoring Intern focused on airframe documentation. You will gain hands‑on experience creating and maintaining aircraft maintenance manuals while supporting engineering updates and customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Write and update aircraft maintenance manuals according to quality standards and schedules.
• Identify and implement improvements to technical data workflows and tools.
• Review engineering updates such as service bulletins to assess impact on documentation.
• Coordinate with customer services, design offices, airlines, and suppliers.
• Maintain compliance with aviation regulations (EASA/FAA) and quality standards (EN9100).
• Provide assistance to users and customers regarding maintenance deliverables.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing an AME or BTech in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft systems and aircraft maintenance concepts.
• Strong analytical abilities and proactive, curious attitude.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills
