About the role

The Junior Production Engineer will oversee shift operations in a steel fabrication and industrial racking environment, ensuring production output, safety, and discipline.

Key responsibilities

Handle dedicated production and sub‑contract activities, delivering daily output.
Manage the complete shift, supervising workmen, monitoring attendance, and allocating tasks.
Ensure loading operations follow plan, verify shipper details, and meet shipment targets.
Prioritize jobs during loading, verify jobs before loading, and close phases as planned.
Educate operators on priority items and maintain shift continuity until relieved.

Required profile

Age 24‑30 years with 2‑5 years of experience managing workforce in manufacturing/engineering.
Strong supervisory and people‑management skills.
Ability to meet targets and understand priority requirements.
Good communication, influencing and convincing abilities.

Required skills

Plate cutting knowledge.
Bus body fabrication experience.
Industrial racking fabrication experience.
