Medical Officer – Clinical Care & Surgical Assistance

About the role

AURA Plus is seeking a full‑time Medical Officer to join its Mannarkkad facility. The role involves delivering comprehensive clinical care, supporting surgical procedures, and contributing to continuous quality improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and follow‑up patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses and multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in surgical procedures and manage peri‑operative care.
• Implement and monitor treatment protocols and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in staff training, patient education and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and a valid medical license.
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage common and complex conditions.
• Experience in surgery assistance or peri‑operative care.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Experience in training healthcare staff or students.
