Manufacturing Engineer – GCC

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will support and drive improvements across critical manufacturing functions, acting as the bridge between builders who order parts and manufacturing partners who produce them. You will analyze manufacturability, cost, and design specifications to help bring products to market faster.

Key responsibilities

• Release Package Review – Analyze models, drawings, parts lists and determine feasibility, manufacturing requirements and lead time.
• Quoting – Combine analysis with software recommendations to generate accurate quotes for builders or collaborate with external suppliers.
• Calculator Generation – Develop cost calculators for new service offerings, leveraging fabrication expertise.
• DFx Feedback – Provide design‑for‑X recommendations to improve manufacturability, reduce cost, or ease assembly.
• Automation Feedback – Advise the quoting software team to improve automated quoting accuracy.
• Drawing Generation – Produce high‑quality 2D drawings following ANSI/ASME Y14.5 standards.

Required profile

• Meticulous, detail‑oriented with strong documentation habits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Self‑starter who manages time efficiently without supervision.
• Enjoys sharing knowledge and teaching manufacturing processes.
• 4‑year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical training.
• Understanding of GD&T and conventional tolerancing.
• Knowledge of manufacturability and limitations of common metals and plastics.
• Exposure to multiple custom mechanical processes (sheet metal, urethane casting, injection molding, etc.) and CNC machining/3D printing experience.
