Solutions Engineer (Manufacturing) – US Shift

About the role

We bridge the gap between complex customer requirements and practical manufacturing solutions. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, performing cost analysis, and conducting DFM reviews to ensure manufacturability while balancing cost, quality, and lead time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate cost estimates for CNC machining and other manufacturing processes.
• Perform DFM analysis, highlight risks, and suggest design changes to optimize cost and lead time.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and material requirements to confirm feasibility.
• Engage directly with customers to clarify requirements, resolve design concerns, and deliver proactive updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Sourcing, Quality, Logistics) and manufacturing partners to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks early, recommending alternative processes, tolerances, or materials when needed.

Required profile

• Meticulous, detail‑oriented with strong documentation habits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Self‑starter able to manage time efficiently without active supervision.
• 4‑year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical training.
