Maintenance Technician

About the role

Basil is seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician to join its on‑site team in Delhi. You will ensure kitchen and facility equipment operate safely and efficiently across multiple outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on kitchen and facility equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Coordinate with outlet teams and support installation or commissioning of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and follow safety and hygiene standards.
• Travel to multiple locations as required.

Required profile

• Strong background in refrigeration maintenance (approximately 80% of duties).
• Experience with maintenance and repair of kitchen and facility systems.
• Technical diploma, ITI certification, or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and follow safety protocols.
• Prior experience in restaurant, food‑service, FMCG, or hospitality maintenance is an advantage.
• Flexible to work evenings or weekends and travel between outlets.
