Housekeeping Staff – Karol Bagh

About the role

The Housekeeping Staff member will ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment across Drishti IAS premises, including classrooms, offices, washrooms and common areas. This role supports the smooth daily functioning of the centre and creates a comfortable atmosphere for students, faculty, employees and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitisation and cleaning of assigned areas.
• Prepare classrooms and common areas so they are clean and ready before classes, meetings and events.
• Maintain adequate stock of housekeeping and cleaning supplies and use them properly.
• Collect and dispose of waste according to hygiene and safety standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or shortages to the reporting manager promptly.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning and sanitation practices.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify cleanliness or maintenance issues.
• Punctual, disciplined, responsible and service‑oriented attitude.
• Basic communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of proper handling and use of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently and complete them within defined timelines.
