Machine Technician – Pune

About the role

The Machine Technician will operate and maintain production equipment in a food‑manufacturing environment. You will follow standard operating procedures, ensure safety and quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machines according to Standard Operating Conditions (SOC) and execute shutdown/start‑up procedures.
• Maintain safety, quality and food‑safety standards, raise and close near‑miss incidents.
• Perform routine tasks such as clearing jams, cleaning equipment, and disposing of defective product.
• Troubleshoot equipment at an operational level and escalate issues beyond your expertise.
• Document activities, capture CP0 module data, and log all incidents accurately.
• Identify and reduce line waste, support Kaizen and OPL initiatives, and participate in problem‑solving groups.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, LOTO, and other Mars safety policies, including regular safety interlock inspections.
