Machine Technician – Pune

About the role

The Machine Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment in a fast‑moving FMCG environment. The role ensures machines run according to Standard Operating Conditions (SOCs) while meeting safety, quality and efficiency targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machines following safety, quality and food‑safety standards.
• Execute shutdown and startup procedures and perform routine tasks such as clearing jams, cleaning equipment and disposing of defective product.
• Troubleshoot equipment at an operational level and promptly escalate issues beyond the area of expertise.
• Maintain accurate documentation, log incidents and capture CP0 module data for stakeholder review.
• Monitor line waste, contribute to Kaizen/OPL initiatives and participate in problem‑solving groups.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, OPRP, PRP and CCP monitoring as defined.
• Conduct safety interlock inspections, follow lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) procedures and support toolbox talks.
• Uphold personal hygiene, uniform standards and overall work‑area cleanliness.

Required profile

• ITI (2‑year technical course after 10th standard) with good communication skills in Marathi, Hindi and English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.

Required skills
