About the role

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Litigation & Dispute Resolution professional with 7‑9 years of post‑qualification experience. The role involves managing a broad spectrum of commercial litigation matters and providing strategic legal support to protect the company’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Handle commercial litigation, recovery suits, and Section 138 NI Act matters.
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, and other court documents with precision.
• Appear before courts and tribunals, representing the company in writ petitions and other proceedings.
• Manage litigation portfolios, ensuring timely filing, compliance, and cost‑effective resolution.
• Provide corporate legal advice on dispute‑related issues and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of post‑qualification experience in litigation, preferably from a law firm or in‑house practice.
• Strong background in commercial disputes, recovery actions, and Section 138 NI Act cases.
• Excellent drafting abilities and proven courtroom advocacy skills.
• Effective matter‑management experience, including docket control and case strategy.
