India Analyst

About the role

The India Analyst will support BowerGroupAsia’s India practice by researching, interpreting and communicating the impact of Indian government regulations and policies for multinational clients. The role combines rigorous analysis with client‑facing engagement to help clients navigate India‑specific regulatory challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Research, analyze and interpret Indian laws, regulations and policy developments and produce timely written memos, reports and stakeholder maps.
• Develop and deliver client deliverables—including briefings, presentations and monitoring matrices—through collaboration with internal BGA teams.
• Maintain and expand client and stakeholder records in Salesforce, flagging critical developments for senior leadership.
• Build and nurture relationships with corporate executives, government officials, media and civil‑society experts, representing BGA at meetings and industry events.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the India practice across priority sectors.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of India’s geopolitical and regulatory environment.
• 3‑5 years of experience in government affairs, consulting, journalism or a multinational corporation related to India.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Excellent research, editing and written/verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in financial services, fintech, ICT or healthcare/pharma.
