Legal Counsel – Data & Analytics (APAC)

About the role

LSEG is seeking a skilled corporate and commercial lawyer to provide strategic legal support to its Data & Analytics business across the Asia Pacific region. The role involves delivering practical, problem‑solving advice while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, revise, and negotiate a wide range of agreements in English, including master agreements, data licences, software and IP licences, consulting and services agreements, and NDAs.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to the Data & Analytics business on commercial and contractual matters.
• Ensure compliance with international contracting requirements and LSEG’s internal policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as product, sales, and compliance to align legal solutions with business objectives.
• Support risk management initiatives and contribute to the development of standard contract templates.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a proven record in corporate and commercial law.
• Experience negotiating commercial contracts in an international or multi‑jurisdictional environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and regions.
