Legal Advocate – Real Estate

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Advocate with a strong focus on real estate to manage all legal aspects of property transactions, land acquisition, and regulatory compliance. The role involves providing sound legal advice to management and representing the company before authorities and courts.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all real estate legal matters and deliver legal opinions to senior management.
• Conduct due diligence on land and property documents, verifying title deeds, encumbrance certificates, RTC orders, and other records.
• Draft, review, and negotiate sale agreements, development agreements, lease agreements, MOUs, POAs, and related documents.
• Manage property-related litigation, disputes, notices, and court proceedings.
• Coordinate with external counsel, consultants, government authorities, and registration offices.
• Ensure compliance with RERA, land, property, registration, and local real‑estate laws.
• Assist in land acquisition and property registration processes.
• Identify legal risks in transactions and propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain organized records of legal documents, cases, agreements, and property files.

Required profile

• LLB from a recognized institution and enrollment with the Bar Council.
• 4–8 years of hands‑on experience in real‑estate law.
• In‑depth knowledge of RERA, land, property, and registration laws.
• Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and analyze complex legal documents.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience handling property disputes and litigation is an advantage.
