Lead Infrastructure Engineer – Large‑Scale Projects

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Infrastructure Engineer to drive the planning, design, implementation and monitoring of large‑scale infrastructure works for MET City. The role will oversee the delivery of roads, water supply, sewerage, storm‑water drainage, utility corridors and related municipal services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end planning, design review and execution of infrastructure components within MET City.
• Oversee development of roads, water supply systems, sewerage networks, storm‑water drainage, utility corridors and power distribution.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates and construction plans submitted by consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate with developers, consultants, contractors, utility agencies, local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost and schedule; recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Support procurement, bid evaluation, contract administration and technical assessments.
• Ensure compliance with national standards, regulations, environmental requirements and statutory approvals.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and lead sustainability initiatives for future expansion.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in planning, designing and delivering large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in industrial townships, integrated townships, SEZs, smart cities or large real‑estate developments.
• Strong background in managing multidisciplinary teams of civil, structural, utility, transportation, environmental and MEP professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder coordination, contractor relationships and project delivery.
