Lead Business Analyst (OTC Derivatives Reconciliations)

About the role

DXC Luxoft is looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst in Mumbai with deep domain expertise in OTC derivatives reconciliations and hands-on experience with major reconciliation platforms such as SmartStream TLM, Intellimatch, Gresha, Duco or Xceptor. The role acts as the key link between Business Operations, Technology and external stakeholders, leading business analysis, managing stakeholder relationships across front-to-back office functions, overseeing change management on Xceptor, supporting BAU operations and driving the onboarding of new reconciliation use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary Lead BA and bridge between Business Operations, Risk, Compliance, Trading Desks, Product Control and IT
• Elicit, capture and analyse requirements, turn them into FRDs, Epics and User Stories, and run workshops with senior stakeholders
• Lead and mentor junior and mid-level Business Analysts in the Reconciliations/Trade Operations domain
• Drive end-to-end change management for Xceptor configuration (data ingestion, mapping, validation rules, matching logic, workflow automation) and optimise existing workflows
• Partner with technical teams and vendors on releases, regression testing and deployment
• Provide tier-2/3 business support for BAU issues, exceptions and discrepancies, and oversee root-cause analysis of production incidents
• Onboard new use cases (trade matching, position/cash/collateral, valuation/P&L, regulatory reporting) and define target operating models and data templates (SWIFT, FpML, CSV, PDF, APIs, broker statements)
• Write and review UAT test cases and coordinate testing with Business Operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• 8+ years of business analysis experience in capital markets or investment banking with deep knowledge of OTC derivatives (Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, FX Options, Equity Swaps, Commodity Derivatives)
• Strong understanding of front-to-back post-trade processing, trade matching and position/cash/collateral reconciliations
• Proven hands-on experience configuring, managing or onboarding workflows in Intellimatch, Gresham, SmartStream TLM, Duco or Xceptor
• Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership, with agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and problem-solving skills
• Nice to have: exposure to Xceptor, English at C1 Advanced level
