Laundry Ambassador

About the role

We are looking for a Laundry Ambassador to join our hotel team. The role ensures courteous, professional laundry service for guests, handling collection, processing, and delivery of garments and linens while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily work schedules for all laundry staff.
• Collect, count, sort, and inspect guest items and uniforms, noting damages or special care requirements.
• Mark items with room or uniform numbers for easy control and issue.
• Compute laundry charges, prepare vouchers, and forward them to the Front Office cashiers.
• Assist the valet runner in delivering guest laundry to rooms.
• Answer incoming laundry calls and maintain ample stock of supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Keep the laundry manager and team leaders informed of special instructions, services, and complaints.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of equipment and work areas, ensuring daily logbook checks.
• Participate in briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned.

• Awareness of hotel fire, life safety, and emergency procedures.
