KYC Analyst

About the role

Barclays is hiring a KYC Analyst in Noida, India, within its Banking Operations team under Group Economic Crime. The analyst provides first-class support by conducting in-depth due diligence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguarding clients and the organisation. The role is based in Noida and is open to candidates who can show the right legal right to work.

Key responsibilities

• Support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend improvements to operational processes.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain efficiency.
• Develop reports and presentations on operational performance and share findings with senior stakeholders.
• Identify industry trends and developments to apply best practice in banking operations.
• Take part in projects and initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (minimum qualification).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data quickly and make informed decisions.
• Good communication skills.
• No people leadership roles at this grade; work collaborates with and impacts team members.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of know-your-customer principles and procedures in the financial industry.
• Customer due diligence and complete enhance due diligence experience is required.
• Desirable: any KYC stream experience.
• Essential skills assessed: risk and controls, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills.
