Key Account Manager – Food Ingredients (Mumbai)

About the role

Calpro Specialities is seeking a full‑time Key Account Manager to lead strategic relationships with its top food‑ingredient customers in Mumbai. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring service excellence, timely order fulfilment, and proactive issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed account plans for key customers across dairy, bakery, confectionery and nutraceutical sectors.
• Identify growth opportunities, drive upselling and cross‑selling of cocoa powders, hydrocolloids, proteins and improver systems.
• Coordinate with sales, supply‑chain, finance and technical teams to meet customer requirements and resolve issues.
• Monitor market trends, analyse performance data and prepare regular sales and performance reports.
• Support pricing negotiations, contract discussions and product portfolio optimisation.
• Conduct frequent customer meetings, product presentations and solution workshops.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of B2B sales or account management experience in food ingredients, dairy or related industries.
• Strong analytical and business‑planning capabilities to forecast demand and drive account growth.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and proven negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Food Technology or related field; MBA is a plus.
