Regional Sales Manager

About the role

VAHLE Group is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for its Indian market organization. The role is permanent, full‑time and based in Chennai, focusing on expanding sales of conductor rail and related products across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of VAHLE’s conductor rail business and market information.
• Handle customer inquiries, prepare estimates and submit quotations for system spares.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, advising on VAHLE products and services.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts, opportunities, quotations, projects, contacts and correspondence in company databases.
• Actively follow up on quotations to drive successful closures and support warehouse activities as required.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in Germany.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in technical/industrial sales within the automotive and intralogistics sectors.
• Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
