Key Account Manager – B2B (Apparel)

About the role

Mad Genius Clothing is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Key Account Manager to lead and expand its strategic B2B relationships across retailers, wholesalers, and institutional buyers. You will act as the primary liaison, ensuring long‑term partnerships that align with the brand’s sustainable and culturally‑rich values.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for key B2B clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the apparel and fashion sector.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while safeguarding brand standards.
• Coordinate order processing, delivery, and after‑sales support with internal sales, production, logistics, and design teams.
• Analyse sales performance, forecast demand, and provide market insights to leadership.
• Handle customer queries and escalations, maintaining a high level of service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management or key‑account roles, preferably in apparel, fashion, or consumer goods B2B environments.
• Strong analytical and business‑planning capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, comfortable with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work on‑site in Guwahati and collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; relevant sales experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with sustainable fashion or regional craft‑based products is a plus.
