K2 Application Developer

About the role

A remote contract position in India seeks an experienced K2 Application Developer to analyse an existing K2 application in depth. The goal is to produce technical and functional documentation that reveals how the application works, especially where no business process maps exist, so the project team can validate functionality and build accurate process maps.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the existing K2 application, its architecture, configuration and functionality
• Review and document workflows, workflow rules, business logic, approval processes and exception handling
• Map SQL database tables, relationships, dependencies and data flows, and how K2 interacts with stored procedures, views and other systems
• Document end-to-end workflows, business rules, decision points, roles and approval hierarchies, and reverse-engineer undocumented processes
• Produce workflow diagrams, SQL data mappings, process narratives, dependency maps and a validated documentation pack
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, undocumented functionality and risks, and work with stakeholders to validate findings

Required profile

• Hands-on K2 specialist with strong SQL analysis skills
• Proven experience analysing existing enterprise applications and reverse-engineering undocumented workflows
• Comfortable working with limited documentation and delivering high-quality documentation with minimal supervision
