Junior System Administrator

About the role

Azista is seeking a proactive Junior System Administrator to support its diverse manufacturing and technology operations. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of servers, networks and security systems, ensuring high availability and reliable performance for internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Windows and basic Linux servers.
• Perform Linux administration tasks such as user management, file permissions, package installation and service management.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS and DHCP.
• Monitor system performance, handle backup, restore and disaster‑recovery operations.
• Administer virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V) and apply patches and updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Maintain firewall and security appliances (e.g., FortiGate).
• Manage email services (Microsoft 365 / Exchange) and provide end‑user support.
• Document systems, processes and configuration changes.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in IT operations or system administration.
• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server and basic Linux environments.
• Familiarity with virtualization, backup tools and monitoring solutions.
• Good problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑service mindset.
