Junior Android Developer

About the role

Pixster Studio LLP is seeking a Junior Android Developer to join its product team in Ahmedabad. You will work on high‑performance Android applications, integrating AI tools and collaborating with designers, backend developers, and AI engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Android applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend teams to create intuitive user experiences.
• Debug and optimise app performance across a range of devices.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, payment gateways, and AI‑driven tools.
• Implement intelligent features using Google ML Kit, TensorFlow Lite, OpenAI APIs or similar.
• Ensure robust app security and data protection, especially for AI models.
• Conduct code reviews and follow best practices for maintainability and scalability.
• Stay current with Android development trends, AI innovations, and performance techniques.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and hands‑on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Solid understanding of MVVM/MVP architecture and Jetpack components.
• Experience with REST APIs, Room Database, Firebase, and third‑party libraries.
• Exposure to AI tools/APIs such as Google ML Kit, TensorFlow Lite, or OpenAI API (preferred).
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Play Store deployment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
